Ever wonder the value of the school lunch? Are you tired of packing your child’s lunch? On average, the bagged lunch you are making every day will cost you on $4.52 (using Meijer prices in Michigan). This year, lunch at Portland Public Schools both breakfast and lunch will be free of charge to all students K-12 under Michigan Meals.

Milk without a meal is not free and may be purchased for $0.60 (student must have funds in their account).
